As a Desert Storm veteran, I can say that on one hand I support the efforts in Iraq, but I do not support how they're being brought about. Though to be honest I don't know how it can be done better.

Personally, I think we need to fight the enemy in terms they understand, which would entail us having to "fight dirty". But in order to secure a victory, that's what we must do. They only understand fear and terror.

I also believe that Iraq may not want a western democracy, and we need to find out what the Iraqis truly want and help them achieve it, not do it for them.
