This morning's unofficial weigh-in is 262.8 (compare: 265.2 on my last weigh-in) -- now, I may bounce a bit before the weigh-in. It's been known to happen. But even with a bounce, unless it's a huge one (and I've been weighing at 264.2 or so since Friday) I ought to at least remain down a pound.
It's been easier to stay on points this week; I don't feel like I've changed anything myself, so I think it's a purely physical thing, in terms of the signals my body is sending me, rather than my resolve to ignore them. Thus it is easier to eat a little less and not be quite as tempted by sweets and/or fatty food. Not that I haven't -- I actually had fries on Friday, but that was in part because I had 20 points available and the fries with the turkey burger fit pretty nicely under that number.
Anyhow, if I go with today's number, I'm down 28.2 pounds, total. That feels pretty good. My 10% goal is still 260; but that, in part, is due to rounding more than anything. Starting at 292 and being down 28.2 pounds, it's clear I really only need 1 more pound, not 2.8, to reach that goal. But that's where WW will put the star, so we will call it 260 anyhow.
Thanks for for being gentle and polite in the encouragement; I actually don't do quite as well with the cheerleading that I see on a lot of people's journals, but from you guys I get much more constructive statements as a whole, and I appreciate that!
