Time for the wagon

So it's no secret that I fell off the dieting wagon and decided to just stay off for the holidays. Give myself a bit of a treat, as it were.

I can feel the results more than the scale shows them--theoretically I've only regained about 3 pounds in 2 months of not dieting, which isn't too bad. And while I haven't done anything as drastic as gain a size or change where I buckle my belt, some of my clothes do feel a shade tighter, and I just feel larger than I was.

Still, I'm not too unhappy with what the scale says. I fear that the disparity in the scale and what I feel means that I may've lost some muscle mass somewhere along the way, and that's not a good thing. I definitely don't want to be losing muscle mass, which means I'm going to have to find a way to force myself into exercise. That's going to be rough. I suppose I can do anything if I set my mind to it, but setting my mind to it won't be easy.

And overall I'm still officially down 40 (ok ok, pedantic types, 39.8) pounds from when I started this journey. I have either 51 or 71 pounds to go depending upon where I set my final endgoal. I'm pretty sure 200 is sufficient, but keeping the goal at 180 has merit.

I am also at around 250....trying to get down to 180.

My main problem is that I don't have any love of cooking...I just want a pill I can take.

Only 3 pounds of gain? Impressive!

Just keep swimming

Much like [livejournal.com profile] joe_sunday said: only three pounds up? I'm impressed. And jealous. ;)

Welcome back to the wagon, I'm still getting used to my new seat, too. :>

If three pounds is falling off the wagon, then I did a running leap off it. And am scrambling madly to get back on right now...

Thats still pretty good.

40 pounds is NOTHING to scoff at over ANY amount of time. I'm quite jealous really. I haevn't lost any weigh tplaying hockey like I thought I might, even though hockey is close to a 1000 calorie burn. Oh well.

How long will you be in Denver next week?
