So it's no secret that I fell off the dieting wagon and decided to just stay off for the holidays. Give myself a bit of a treat, as it were.

I can feel the results more than the scale shows them--theoretically I've only regained about 3 pounds in 2 months of not dieting, which isn't too bad. And while I haven't done anything as drastic as gain a size or change where I buckle my belt, some of my clothes do feel a shade tighter, and I just feel larger than I was.

Still, I'm not too unhappy with what the scale says. I fear that the disparity in the scale and what I feel means that I may've lost some muscle mass somewhere along the way, and that's not a good thing. I definitely don't want to be losing muscle mass, which means I'm going to have to find a way to force myself into exercise. That's going to be rough. I suppose I can do anything if I set my mind to it, but setting my mind to it won't be easy.

And overall I'm still officially down 40 (ok ok, pedantic types, 39.8) pounds from when I started this journey. I have either 51 or 71 pounds to go depending upon where I set my final endgoal. I'm pretty sure 200 is sufficient, but keeping the goal at 180 has merit.

Making a point of getting at least two healthy meals a day sounds like a good plan to copy for the next round of holidays -- even if it doesn't stop one from eating the 'bad' food, at least there will be room for less of it.
