Not all things age like wine, eh?

It's kind of funny how much my LJ friends list has slowed down in the last year. It's surprisingly noticeable.

Sadly, it's because my life is boring. :) Unlike many other friends', whose lives are just busy. :)

I think they use twitter and/or facebook.

Maybe they're all tweeting.

FB, Twitter, LJ - enough of that, I'd like to see you guys in person sometime soon, yes?

Mine's still pretty busy, but then I've added people from various places and fandoms over the years.

I've noticed that too. I've also noticed that FB/Twitter reduce the impulse to blog something lengthy.

Evil, evil Facebook. Then again, I'm so busy getting through the RSS feeds every day I hardly notice a drop in overall volume...

FB and Twitter are the double-dose LJ killers.

Honestly, I think it's largely because Twitter and Facebook support "Short Attention Span Theatre." I know, for me, that 140 characters is much easier to deal with than a 6 page update that took me 3 hours to pen.

That being said, I comment like gangbusters.
