But nevertheless, I have 9 of an estimate 18 chapters outlined.
My goal is that once I get started, I can write roughly 1,000 words a day. I expect the novel to be around 90-105k words, so that's something on the order of 3-4 months to write the novel, plus time to edit and revise, so probably 6 months of steady work, all told. That seems long, but it's meant to not interfere (too much) with my otherwise relatively busy life.
The question is, can I stay focused long enough to do it? That's my traditional problem. Very focused early on in a project, but as time passes my focus disappears. Right now I'm feeling good. Let's see where this goes in a month.
