Sadly Terri will never get to read this because she almost certainly doesn't read my livejournal.

Then again, if for some reason she does, *great*.

1. Dennis was a complete ass to his children, no matter what he tells you now. Anyone who tells smart children that they are stupid and won't amount to anything do not deserve the love of their children.
   
2. Andrew and Lynette have some very serious issues with how Dennis treats people. Not just them, but everybody.
   
3. Andrew changed his name. His name is no longer Jason. He has that right, it's legal, and it's done. He realizes Dennis doesn't like it much, but it's done and he's not changing it back, no matter how much you try. Continuing to refer to him as Jason only makes him angry.
   
4. Let's remember that you are the one approaching him and Lynette about trying to make amends. Approaching them and telling them what they've done wrong and what they need to do gets you absolutely nothing and prolongs the existing situation indefinitely.
   
5. You say you're a therapist. I don't believe you. Everything you've said and done tells me that if you really are a therapist, your patients are probably better off without you. All you've accomplished is to make certain Lynette and Andrew want to have absolutely nothing to do with Dennis ever again. Congratulations.
