Wow.

Mary Fahl was absolutely amazing live. I kind of expected her voice to not be quite up to the clarity and range that she has on her albums, but she was absolutely perfect, even over a kind of crappy speaker system. I am in awe of how amazingly good she is.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention.

She likes to branch out...do weird things...well, in her encore, she did a George Jones song. "(S)He thinks I still care."

I heard that song a LOT as a child. I can quite clearly remember his voice singing it, even if I can't quite remember the lyrics outside of the main chorus (which is only one line).

It was significantly more surreal than when I saw Concrete Blonde do Tears for Fears: Shout.
