Friday: Cancelled Altaia game due to illness and double-booking.
Spent the evening pretty much just kickin' back and playing Neverwinter nights.
Saturday:
Spent the morning playing NWN again. Saw that Halsted was feeling a little lonely without Chad around, so we invited her down and hung out. The three of us went to La Fondue with Chatty, Indy,
wendamus and Charlie. We had a great time and closed the restaurant. Our server was awesome and much fun was had by all.
We took a moment to calculate what a good server at La Fondue must make. We figured he probably handles about 10 tables equivalent to ours a night, which is 10 big tables or 20 small tables or some mix in between. We tipped big, but let's assume he gets a more average tip of $50/table (La Fondue is not cheap, and a $250 check is pretty easy to accomplish with just 4 people, and with 6 people the check is often around $400). So $500 per night. 5 nights a week $2500. Assuming he's a good server and is well liked by all.
So that's $10k/month, or if we can add, roughly $120K yearly.
It's no wonder he prefers that to a real job! I mean, he likes his job!
