Dinner was very successful. My spaghetti sauce just gets better and better as I make minor changes to improve it. The italian sausage I've been using in it is wonderful!

And my first attempt at making bread was very successful. Two loaves, one became garlic cheese bread and the other just bread -- the garlic cheese bread went in its entirety, and half of the regular bread went.

And there is 1 cookie left from a full batch of about 30.

The game itself went well; they completed the dungeon, fought the big bad nasty, and walked right into a three thousand year old altar to Drookth (who is the God of Hate, Destruction and Vengeance) and Selina ([livejournal.com profile] aelfscience's character) to my surprise took a taste of the blood that was sitting on the altar and got possessed. To my surprise her sneak attack on Hugh (Chatty's character) did NOT in fact give him a very big wound, and they were able to subdue and free her from the enchantment.

(... for now ... yes, players, you can bet that one will turn up again at some point!)

The introduction of the new character actually caused quite a bit of roleplay, and the game went on for an hour and a half after I'd officially ended the session. That's always nice. Definitely a more upbeat session than the ones in Talos ended up being. Of course, sessions are often upbeat when major plot points get revealed -- those are the points of the story that always excite people.
