I don't know if I will be posting these regularly or not, but it seems like a good idea right now. Maybe it won't later. Also probably few of you actually care what we're eating for dinner around here, so this is cut for your protection.

Date: 2010-03-15 11:38 pm (UTC)We've been doing couscous pretty regularly, too - it's a good starch+veggie in one dish if you do it right. I pretty typically cut some fresh herbs from the garden, chop them up and add them along with steamed broccoli, peas, raisins, walnuts, and chopped fresh tomatoes into the couscous after it's been cooked.

Date: 2010-03-16 01:42 am (UTC)Throwing peas and carrots into the curry seems reasonable, but Sprout probably won't eat the curry so I want the veggie on the side. She has a thing against sauces and will not be deterred. "I DON'T LIKE SAUCE." No ketchup, no mustard, no salad dressing, no bbq sauce, no gravy. About the only thing she'll eat in terms of sauce is a cheese sauce, sometimes.
