Well, this week wasn't so good for the plan. Weight is up .7 from this time last week though waist is down another .5", so it's not totally hopeless. Between the two I can assume that it's stable, trending downward, since a .7 pound variance is well under the variance from simple water.
So just over a week ago, I managed to hurt my knee, and until yesterday it's been getting progressively worse, not better. Though yesterday was actually better than the day before, so I'm hoping against hope that the trend is reversing.
Self-diagnosis suggests it's probably bursitis, though I'm no doctor so I can't be sure. But it matches pretty closely a number of different resources I've read. The good news is that bursitis isn't a horrible injury. The bad news is that it can take a long time to heal.
Unfortunately, it's been bad enough that I've barely done any walking. I haven't made an attempt to find alternative exercises yet, hoping that I could get back to the walking sooner rather than later. We'll see.
The scary part is I've a trip to Disneyland in just about two weeks, and I have no idea how that'll go if my knee is still in bad shape then.
Without the exercise, my progress is slowing significantly. It may be a dead stop, but in one week it's hard to say for sure. All my other numbers look solid, at least, and I've tried to be good (except on Friday, I've stayed around 1800 per day) for calories, so in theory I should still be dropping at least a bit. I guess we'll see over the next week.
I'm really frustrated by this, and unfortunately it's soured pretty much my whole mood for the week, leaving me kind of unstable at times.
Anyway, this is definitely impacting my goal of being at 270 by the time I get to the surgery. That seems solidly out of reach now, without some major luck.

I hope it gets better soon!
