I scored!

• Alton Brown's kitchen gadget book. Signed: "Happy Birthday Earl." From tersa, aelfsciene, tyee mallen and Julie, whose LJ username I don't actually know. [Edit: Ok it was only tersa, in fact. I like to think it was from all of them since they got to go and I didn't!] They got to go to an AB booksigning while I was busy doing party prep and making wings. It's a very, very nice present!
  
  Now I have to start a collection of signed AB stuff. Maybe I can get a signed AB apron...
  
  I also scored a copy of GTA: Vice City which I need to remove from my wishlist, and an interesting-looking comic book collection of shorts, it appears to be a very small press type of deal. And an uncut sheet of Shadowfist cards from Year of the Dragon which is very cool, tho I dunno quite what I'll do with it. Too big to hang, really, since I've already used most available wall space.
  
  Now I just want someone to do my homework for me!
