So far so good. We're continuing the trends.
This month, I started measuring my waistline. Early in the month I had tremendous loss -- .75inches per week. The last couple weeks it has slowed significantly, but that's ok.
My stomach has shrunk so much that I am continually amazed that how much I habitually think is a normal meal being too much for me to even finish. For example, we went out to eat to Red Robin because they were doing a give 15% to our local preschool deal, which seemed worthwhile. I ordered a turkey burger and only ate half, and felt pretty comfortably full. I used to eat the whole thing, plus all the fries, and want more.
The last week or two, my appetite has increased somewhat, but I've tried to hold tight and pay attention to what the stomach is actually saying. Conflicting signals can be difficult to cope with, but I seem to be doing okay. I remain on the track I want for weight loss; it slowed down a little but it hasn't stopped, and that's good. And I am still adamant that if I'm actually hungry, that's my body signalling that it has needs to be fulfilled.
Sadly, all of my interesting milestones seem so far away.
Interestingly, the statistics say I'm doing better than I felt like I was doing. The reason for this is that most of this lost happened in the beginning of the month and the last 2 weeks have stayed relatively stable, so I've been at a bit of a plateau and that's always discouraging, no matter how much I tell myself that they're normal and that I have tools to deal with them.
( Just some statistics )
