Academic institutions should know better

I was going through SFSU's admissions materials, making sure I have all my ducks in a row and I don't have to change my plans for next semester. While looking at the General Educations requirements, I came across this line as a paragraph by itself under the discussion about core GE requirements:

Engineering Majors: Critical Thinking is no longer required for admission.

My response: "Ooh. Engineering sheep!"
