If it doesn't go through for any reason, let me know, and when I'm looking I'll keep an eye out for you too (see my LJ for the details I need). And of course, if you have any questions about real estate terms, finance, or projections, drop me an E-mail, or call me and I'll toss the URL's over and drop off the books I'm already done with.
(although I think they can take more than 24 hours if they counter-offer, rather than accepting as written; it can take that long just for the buyers to _see_ the offer from their real estate agent)
There's a little oddness with this one. THe agent actually lives at the house, and is a member of the family. The home is actually almost listed For Sale By Owner, because it's not actually listed through the agent's company, and I suspect the agent is not taking any commission.
And yea, they can counter offer any time they want, but once that 24 hours expires, we get to decide whether or not we want to commit rather than being beholden to what we already signed.
