My weekend is filled with 3...hm. 4? things.

  1. Friday [livejournal.com profile] tyee flew in, and we met up with [livejournal.com profile] denyse and [livejournal.com profile] evilmagnus for dinner (where I somehow neglected to grab my credit card; luckily they still have it) and Battlestar Galactica. Ahh yes, BSG. Assume I threw the spiel at you; it's still a fantastic show.
  2. Saturday, we took tyee up to Pier 40 where [livejournal.com profile] littlebbob had rented a 36' sailboat, and we went sailing, along with [livejournal.com profile] ergazork, Druid ([livejournal.com profile] azprax), Marvin, Miyu (LJs?), and Schwartz. The first part of the trip was uneventful, as there was next to no wind south of the bay bridge, and Andrew eventually started moving us under power to get us out of the dead zone. Once we got past the bay bridge, tho, the wind picked right up and we had a nice 20 degree tilt and were cruising right along. That part ended up not lasting all that long, tho, as we'd spent so much time with no wind, and then we went back to port. There are pictures available at the new logrus site
  3. We then went for Thai (which was quite tasty, tho a bit too spicy for [livejournal.com profile] esmerel) and then saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which is good in swaths but as a whole was dragged down by some silliness. And while I like Christopher Lee, his character simply never should've been there. Wonka doesn't need humanizing, he's a magical character. Leave him that way.
  4. Yesterday I did a bunch of work to www.logrus.com and have a new front page up. As time goes on I will slowly shift my personal pages there, probably, but a bunch of stuff will take me awhile. But I do have the recipe db up and and functional, and am in the process of transfering data to it. I can give other people access to input additional recipes, as well, and that applies in particular to [livejournal.com profile] tersa if you'd like to use it as a place to plop recipes for easy gathering.
  5. The rest of the day was spent shopping and, really, what's to tell about that?
  6. Oh yea, and Saturday I weighed in at 257.6; I'm back up to 259 (I think I was dehydrated some, especially after sailing) this morning, but that's still significantly down from last week. Hopefully that's all the bounce I'll get. In any case, this is unlocked because 260 was my first Major Milestone, losing 10%, and if I bounce up by Wednesday I'm just going to use today's weight so that I can mark off having hit the goal. I have 4 Major Milestones remaining (240, 220, 200 and 180, if you're interested); all of them are less weight than the first milestone, but I didn't set the first one. Anyway, 259 is 32 lb lost, and in the last month or two I've gotten a lot of comments on how I've noticeably lost weight. GO me!

I guess 6 isn't much like 3. It's a bit more like 4, but 5 is closer, and 6 would've been spot on.

Oooo. Recipe storage. I noticed the recipes listing on the menu-bar looking at Ezzy's pictures. I may take advantage of that--sometime when I have time and more brain. :)
