Someone let the cat out of the bag, and now Chris knows about the Vegas surprise. Tho since they're leaving tomorrow night and he only found out yesterday, I'd say Mindy did a damn good job of keeping it from him. He'd have to find out sometime before the packing begins.
Though apparently 18-20 people already knew about it, far more than I realized. But Mindy can be chatty, so I guess that shouldn't surprise me in the least.
The cool bit is that Brian (Chris' friend who owns the house in Vegas we're staying at this weekend) got us all VIP tickets to Edwin McCain. Much to my surprise! It sounds like it will be a fun-filled, exciting weekend.
I took my English mid-term today. This one was easy--we got the question in advance, so we could think about how to answer it. We got to have all the materials in front of us, so we could quote the book we were working from (Fast Food Nation, still) and all of our notes. I cranked through it, ripped out a scathing review of a review (the midterm question was to discuss the validity of a negative review of the book) and got out of the class 20 minutes early. The reward for midterms =)
Now I just need to catch up on my essay writing!
