More unexpected expenditures.
While attempting to watch the second half of The Two Towers extended edition, my receiver smoked. As in, "IC chips work on magic blue smoke. If you let the smoke out, this is bad."
It smelled acrid for quite some time.
Anyway, after a replacement we got to finish the movie.
While my biggest bitch of the movie couldn't really be fixed with added scenes, all of my other bitches (primarily ents, Farimir and geography) were addressed and in some cases satisfactorily fixed.
