Day 2 of the job went pretty well.
On Day 1, about 3:30, I was suddenly exhausted. I probably didn't sleep well the night before; I never sleep well right before something new. New classes, new job, flights, etc. Silly me.
Today went better. I've got a teeny tiny handle on the things I'm supposed to be doing. Getting my cube decked out with hardware. Ok, old hardware, but still, it's hardware.
To my surprise, I get my first check on the 15th--that's only like a week away. Woohoo! I was expecting July to be a lean month, as I thought my first payday would be the 30th. It'll only be a partial check, but it'll still be a good one.
